Tenth Annual Scientific Posters Competition

Criteria for Entry
Posters presented at other meeting are eligible. The poster can summarize original research, including data driven research, literature review, or case presentation.

Posters can have multiple authors, but only one award per poster will be given. Lead author must be present for poster to be judged in competition. Only one abstract per first author can be accepted. Only first author will receive prize money.

Presenting Author
The presenting author must be listed first with all other coauthors and all involved institutions, city, and state.

Poster set-up begins from 4:30 pm on Friday, September 15, and presentations will be from 5:00-6:00 pm. Posters must be removed no later than 8.30 pm on Friday. The presenting author must attend the poster presentation session to answer questions for attendees. Awards will be presented on Saturday, September 16. Competition will be limited to first 10 posters. SCNA Annual Meeting registration fee will be waived for all presenters.

Purpose
To showcase work in medical research by South Carolina medical students, neurology residents and neurology subspecialty fellows.

Eligible
All neurology residents, medical students and neurology subspecialty fellows who are in good standing in their respective program.

Poster
Poster board size should not exceed 4’ x 8’ and be laminated.

Guidelines
Poster presenters must submit an abstract organized as follows to info@scneuro.org:

  1. Title
  2. Purpose of the study
  3. Simple statement of methods
  4. Summary of results
  5. Statement of conclusions

Email abstract with cover sheet containing presenting author’s name, address, phone, email, residency program and poster title to: info@scneuro.org no later than September 8. All poster presenters must register for the conference.
